9:03 a.m. A resident on Rocky Lane reported that a smelly black lab with overprotective salivary glands was sitting in her yard. An animal warden agreed with her description of the dog and transported him to the animal shelter.
2:03 p.m. A woman called from Rocky Cliff Drive after witnessing someone in a pickup unload a pile of trash out onto the road. A deputy discovered that the trash was actually a pile of old leaves and grass, but suggested that the woman call back if she finds any incriminating evidence in the vegetation.
4:03 p.m. A resident on Chubb Lane successfully caught two stray dogs and trapped them in her chicken coop. They were picked up and taken to the animal shelter.
6:06 p.m. A woman on South Cedar Drive reported that a man in a white shirt and brown pants pushed her down to the ground and cut off her hair with a knife. She was not injured and does not know who the man was.
6:56 p.m. Two of three missing hound dogs have been located on Browns Meadow Road in Kila.
11:37 p.m. An armed Columbia Falls resident reported that someone in a cream colored Thunderbird just drove through his yard and was, at the time of the call, spinning out in his neighbor’s yard. He was advised to put his shotgun away.
