A Flathead County woman has been accused of beating her boyfriend with a wooden board after an argument in October.
Megan Nicole Richeson has been charged with felony assault with a weapon in Flathead County District Court. District Court Judge David M. Ortley signed a warrant for her arrest on Dec. 23, the day after charges were filed.
According to court documents, a Richeson was having an argument with her boyfriend on Oct. 16, 2015. When the man tried to leave, Richeson allegedly grabbed a 2-by-4 piece of lumber and repeatedly struck the man in the back.
Soon after the incident, a Flathead County Sheriff’s Deputy found the man shirtless walking-down a pedestrian trail in Kalispell. The man had injuries to his arms, chest and back. According to court records, several eyewitnesses came forward and provided information about the assault.
