8:23 a.m. A Mcmannamy Draw resident complained that the neighbor’s dog frequently sneaks over to urinate on his front porch and outdoor furniture.
10:05 a.m. A resident on Myers Lane reported that someone drove into her mailbox, breaking the railroad tie that held it up. The woman also spoke of other strange, but apparently indescribable, events that have recently occurred in the neighborhood. She suspects the mailbox issue is related.
10:48 a.m. Two dogs were heard barking on Foothill Road.
11:48 a.m. Someone called 911 to report that a panhandler was standing on the median of Highway 2 East in Kalispell.
11:54 a.m. A short-haired, spotted puppy was seen running down the northbound lane of Vintage Way in Whitefish.
12:03 p.m. A local man reported that he left his gun in the bathroom of a business on Batavia Lane and now it’s gone.
12:44 p.m. Reportedly, a woman who was out shoveling snow along Boon Road in Somers was directing her discarded snow at passing cars.
1:46 p.m. Someone called in with concerns regarding a panhandler and her dog. Apparently, the dog was lifting its paws up out of the snow as though it were cold. A deputy found that the dog was wearing proper winter attire (a hat and a jacket) and was sitting on a coat. The dog did not appear to be in need of assistance.
2:56 p.m. A Kalispell woman found her stolen Nintendo at a local pawn shop.
3:20 p.m. A resident on Foothill Road claimed that his neighbors have hauled large boulders into the road and placed them in such a way that other drivers would hit them. A deputy found this claim to be false.
