Western B Divisionals: Bigfork Boys Roll into Championship Game

The Bigfork Vikings will vie for the Western B divisional championship on Saturday night in Kalispell.

Anders Epperly scored 17 points, Adam Jordt had 15 and the Vikes defeated Libby 66-39 at Flathead High School on Friday to secure a trip to the Class B state tournament.

Bigfork (21-1) will play Florence (21-1) in the divisional title game at 6:30 p.m., Saturday in Kalispell.

Joseph Potkonjak and Jonathan Landon each scored 10 and Bigfork outscores Libby 21-7 in the fourth quarter.

Jonny Cielak led the Loggers with 13. Libby will play Thompson Falls in loser-out action at 9 a.m., Saturday.

On the girls side, Bigfork defeated Troy 55-35 early Friday. The Vals play Libby at 10:40 a.m. in loser-out action. The winner of that game plays in the consolation game at 4:40 p.m. for a trip to the state tournament.

Deer Lodge defeated Eureka 54-38.
