Mailbox Destruction

6:40 a.m. The likely intoxicated driver of a red Subaru was seen swerving down Highway 2 East.

8:00 a.m. Tools were reported stolen out of a truck that was parked on Bay Harbor Drive in Bigfork.

8:33 a.m. An employee at a Kalispell business found one “fake” $10 bill in her till.

8:47 a.m. A resident on East Evergreen Drive reported that her new mailbox, and all the others before it, have been destroyed. At the time of the call, her mail and trash were scattered about her yard.

9:53 a.m. Someone traveling down the bypass reported that an erratic driver in a lime green Volkswagen darted across the center line and nearly hit him.

11:37 a.m. An employee at a fast food restaurant claimed that a man in a maroon Pontiac reached out and attempted to “taze” him while at the drive through window.

1:05 p.m. A man called in to report that the couple who kicked him out of their house last night won’t let him have his stuff.

1:50 p.m. An employee of a Kalispell casino reported that a woman came in and attempted to cash a stolen check.

3:04 p.m. A Coram resident found his vehicle’s stolen wheels at local pawn shop.

4:14 p.m. A sheepdog of some sort and an English bulldog were chasing horses on Twelfth Avenue West in Kalispell. The bulldog was apprehended, but the sheepdog remains at large.

5:10 p.m. An infant dialed 911 and sighed into the phone.

7:46 p.m. An employee of a Columbia Falls casino reported that two kids tore the wiring out of one of the neon signs.

8:47 p.m. A resident on Echo Lake Road reported that every day at the same time someone in a “suped up” pickup with a loud motor speeds by his house. He hoped a deputy would come out and pull the guy over.

11:07 p.m. A woman on Kings Way claimed that she couldn’t let her dogs out because a stray retriever with an unknown disposition was sitting on her porch.
