Runaway Pit Bull

9:23 a.m. Someone found one lone newspaper stand sitting in the middle of Snowline Lane.

10:53 a.m. A dog on Lone Star Trail may have barked all morning, but it couldn’t be proven.

12:05 p.m. A woman on Highway 35 in Kalispell reported that her fog lights have gone missing.

1:48 p.m. A Columbia Falls man reported that several stray dogs have been milling around his house.

1:57 p.m. Reportedly, a pit bull that probably lives in the nearby salvage yard was loose and running through traffic. The salvage yard owner denied any association with the animal.

2:49 p.m. A Columbia Falls woman called in to discuss the neighbor dog’s access to her yard and its inappropriate behavior while visiting her yard.

3:21 p.m. A Bigfork woman reported that a man found some of her dresser drawers and bank statements lying on the side of the road.

8:20 p.m. A terrier on Foothill Road barked for approximately ten minutes before a neighbor called in to complain.
