A 55-year-old Kalispell man was killed in a car wreck Wednesday on Farm-to-Market Road while chasing his wife in another vehicle.

Bruce Eugene Boles was killed when the vehicle he was driving rolled off the roadway near the intersection of Farm-to-Market and Twin Bridges Road at around 2:30 p.m. on March 9. The man was ejected from the vehicle and was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident.

According to Sheriff Chuck Curry, Boles had been arguing with his wife when the woman left in a vehicle. Boles allegedly got in another vehicle and began to chase her. Curry said that at one point the two vehicles made contact with each other during the pursuit. He said the wife was present at the scene of the crash and authorities do not believe she contributed to the wreck.

Curry said the incident remained under investigation.
