A Marion man has denied allegations that he sexually assaulted a 12-year-old girl in 2013 and 2014.
Richard Harold Huffman, 66, has been charged with felony sexual assault in Flathead County District Court. He pleaded not guilty at an arraignment on March 10 before Judge Robert Allison.
According to court documents, sometime between August 2013 and March 2014 Huffman allegedly inappropriately touched the girl on multiple occasions. In March 2014, she told an adult at school who, in turn, reported the incident to law enforcement.
Huffman was charged in January 2016. He is set to go to trial in May.
If convicted, Huffman could face up to 100 years in prison and a fine of $50,000. He was released earlier this year on $25,000 bond.
