9:42 a.m. An employee of a Columbia Falls business reported that a rambling drunken man was in the store talking about his troubles with the law.

9:59 a.m. Several dogs were at large on Wade Drive in Columbia Falls.

12:27 p.m. A man on Highway 35 in Kalispell reported that a child tried to buy a gun from him. Apparently, the “child” was a 20-year-old man who did not try to buy a gun, but mentioned that he had been thinking about it.

3:42 p.m. A psychologically unstable malamute was caught rooting around in a Bigfork resident’s chicken coop.

5:47 p.m. A Columbia Falls woman found a pregnant pig in her garden. She said she’d keep it until its owner is found.

9:55 p.m. A Hungry Horse man lost his cell phone nine hours ago. It could be anywhere.

10:06 p.m. A dog on Dorothy Street in Columbia Falls “freaked out” for approximately four hours.
