BILLINGS — Officials in Carbon County have released the names of the deputies involved in a fatal shooting after responding to a reported domestic disturbance.

Sheriff Josh McQuillan said Tuesday that deputies Jeremy Neibauer and Chad Glick shot and killed 42-year-old John Charles “JC” Graham after Graham pointed a rifle at them on March 7. The deputies remain on paid administrative leave while the state Division of Criminal Investigation investigates the shooting.

Neibauer has been a law enforcement officer for 17 years while Glick is an Army veteran and has been an officer for 12 years. Both are firearms instructors.

McQuillan says a reserve deputy also responded to the call that evening, but did not fire his weapon.
