Dog Bullies

By

10:00 a.m. A pack of free-range bullies cornered a little dog on Alpha Road in Hungry Horse. Apparently, this little dog is frequently targeted and harassed by the bigger, meaner dogs.

10:19 a.m. A resident on Kings Way reported that a beagle puppy showed up at his mailbox.

11:32 a.m. A Kalispell woman reported that her vehicle was stolen last month. She thinks she knows who has it.

1:39 p.m. A Kalispell man reported that someone trespassed onto his property and stole one of his game cameras. He does, however, have footage of the trespassing thief on his other game cameras.

5:03 p.m. A man who was riding his bike down Foys Lake Road reported that an enraged driver pulled his truck over to confront him after a near miss on the road and a rude exchange of hand gestures. When the man got out of his truck the cyclist kept peddling, to avoid conflict and probably bodily injury, but said that as he rode away he saw the truck roll off the road and heard it crash through the ice below. A deputy checked on the driver, who was not in the truck, and found that the vehicle had not rolled into the lake, but was hung up in some trees.

11:54 p.m. A Hungry Horse man called from a local bar to report that he had just been run over by a car, but wasn’t injured. He was taken to a local hospital.
