Missoula Knife Attack Trial Set for October

Scott Austin Price is scheduled for a four-day jury trial in October

MISSOULA — A man charged with killing one Montana woman and assaulting another will go to trial in October.

The Missoulian reports that Scott Austin Price is scheduled for a four-day jury trial in October on charges that he fatally stabbed Lonette Keehner in a motel before stabbing another woman in a nearby parking lot.

Sarah Rae McKnight is also charged with the attacks, which took place last December in Missoula. Both McKnight and Price pleaded not guilty in January.

McKnight’s trial is scheduled for August.

Both suspects are in custody on $1 million bail.
