MISSOULA — A Missoula man who was free on bond pending his July 12 sentencing for raping a 6-year-old girl is charged with raping a woman.
The Missoulian reports 33-year-old Lance Matthew Ring pleaded guilty on May 10 to sexual intercourse without consent as part of an agreement that recommended he be sentenced to 25 years in prison with 15 suspended. During the hearing, District Judge Karen Townsend said she had received allegations that Ring was having contact with a minor, which would violate the conditions of his release. However, she allowed him to remain free on $100,000 in bonds.
Ring was arrested on May 24 and charged Tuesday with raping a woman. He did not enter a plea. He is jailed with his bail set at $400,000.
