Fast Food Meltdown

By

11:39 a.m. A sparkly mini Chopper was reported stolen from a shed on Whitefish Stage.

2:12 p.m. The reckless someone driving the white FJ Cruiser down Highway 35 was probably intoxicated.

2:42 p.m. An intoxicated man walked out of a bar on Highway 35 in Kalispell and drove off in a Honda Civic.

2:56 p.m. A Bigfork resident reported that two men who were out walking through the neighborhood were probably, according to the caller, casing homes. A deputy found the men, identified them, and determined that they were not would-be burglars.

3:34 p.m. Someone called from Kila after finding a “wild hog” on Kila Road which, he claimed, was tame enough to pet. When he was told that law enforcement does not deal in hogs, he suggested that he could shoot it. He was advised not to do that and the animal warden was notified.

4:21 p.m. A man reported that his adult son cut his toe on a razor blade while trying on shoes at a local business.

4:30 p.m. The loose hog, which was not longer thought to be wild, was captured and corralled on Smith Lake Road.

7:05 p.m. Someone saw a large black pig standing in the middle of Smith Lake Road.

7:54 p.m. A woman who claimed to be pregnant and hormonal called 911 after a local fast food restaurant messed up her order twice. The situation was resolved when she was reimbursed.
