The Bigfork Summer Playhouse has kicked off its 57th season with rotating shows and you can catch “Young Frankenstein” on Friday, June 10, and Wednesday, June 15, at 8 p.m.

The Mel Brooks musical is based on the 1974 comedy parody film of the horror film “Frankenstein” and its 1939 sequel, “Son of Frankenstein.” Frederick Frankenstein inherits a castle in Transylvania containing Igor, Inga and Frau Blucher. After discovering the secret entrance to his grandfather’s laboratory, Frederick decides to carry on the family experiments and creates a monster of his own.

Tickets are $30 for adults, $26 for seniors, and $17 for children 10 and unders. For more info, visit www.bigforksummerplayhouse.com. The show continues throughout the summer.
