For nearly six decades, Libby Logger Days has been a cornerstone of Lincoln County’s annual social calendar. Running from June 23 to June 26, the four-day event features a gamut of activities from educational presentations to a carnival. The festival, which first started in the 1950s, is a celebration of the community’s logging heritage and lifestyle.

Festivities kick off Thursday, June 23, with a boxing smoker and live music. On Friday there is a softball tournament, carnival and tug-a-war. Saturday includes a fun run, parade, educational exhibits and one of Logger Days’ most iconic events, the Bull of the Woods Battle, where two people fight each other off a massive log. Festivities wrap up on Sunday with the softball tournament.

Logger Day buttons provide access to all of the events and are available in advance around Libby for $7 or $12 at the gate. Children under 12 get in free.

All Logger Day events take place at J. Neil’s Memorial Park in Libby.
