Saketome, one of the Flathead Valley’s most popular sushi restaurants, has reopened after a major renovation project and is now offering more space for patrons, a new bar and new menu items.

The Bigfork eatery has doubled in size thanks to the upgrades; its cocktail bar also doubled in size, along with the addition of a massive custom wine case behind the bar keeping the bottles temperature controlled.

The bar menu has new items, as does the sushi and otsumami menu, and the entire enterprise is now using ingredients grown in-house, such as basil, violas, rosemary, and lavender.

Other changes include the addition of a new bathroom, hand-poured concrete tables, and new metal-and-brick siding for the front of the building. Custom art work adorns the walls, as do custom light fixtures.
