Offensive Dog

7:47 a.m. A resident on Hoffman Draw reported that someone’s friendly pit bull was in her yard.

7:57 a.m. Someone called while sitting next to a lost and injured pit bull they found wandering along Highway 93 South.

9:31 a.m. A woman on Alpine Court complained that the neighbor’s dogs use her yard as a glorified toilet.

10:51 a.m. Someone on Patrick Creek Road found a bandage, a cigarette butt, and a lysol wipe lying on the side of the road. A deputy determined that these items did not indicate that a crime had occurred.

11:03 a.m. Someone in Marion complained that a free-range labrador habitually defecates in neighborhood yards and startles the local children.

11:12 a.m. A Columbia Falls woman reported that the intoxicated neighbor woman nearly ran into her fence last night.  She also complained that the county wants her to spray her weeds.

11:13 a.m. Someone from the “anti dog biting campaign” called in regarding the recent mistreatment of a dog.

1:20 p.m. A Kalispell woman reported that someone stole her wallet out of her purse while it was at home.

1:53 p.m. A Kalispell man complained that the woman renting the house next to him has been taking video footage of his daily activities at home.

2:27 p.m. A Canyon Trail resident reported that a husky or a wolf-looking thing with a history of deer chasing and fawn killing was out wandering through the neighborhood.

6:13 p.m. A Tall Pine Ridge resident complained that the neighbor’s bees were swarming.

7:32 p.m. A local woman reported that her daughter’s iPhone had been stolen from a local business’s bathroom and, at the time of the call, was “traveling” down Highway 2 West toward Kalispell.

7:56 p.m. A Coram resident found a dead dog on his door step.
