Wildfire Burning Near Thompson Falls

Fire was over 100 acres as of Sunday evening

Crews are responding to a wildfire in the Plains/Thompson Falls Ranger District of the U.S. Forest Service, according to incident information from the fire dispatch resource center WildCAD.

The fire, located in Lolo National Forest, was over 100 acres as of Sunday evening. It was reported at 4:30 p.m.

In southwestern Montana south of Hamilton, a fast-moving fire has led to evacuation notices for more than 500 homes, according to the Missoulian.
