Condon Boy Killed, Girl Injured in Swan Valley Crash

Paul Hammerel was ejected from the pickup and died at the scene

MISSOULA — A 17-year-old boy from Condon was killed and a 17-year-old girl from Seeley Lake was injured in a one-vehicle crash on Montana Highway 83 north of Seeley Lake.

The Montana Highway Patrol says the pickup driven by the boy went off the side of the road at about 10 p.m. Monday, crossed back over the road and overturned. Neither occupant was wearing a seat belt.

The Missoula County coroner’s office says Paul Hammerel was ejected from the pickup and died at the scene.
