Kalispell Brewing Co. is releasing 12 oz. cans of its award-winning Two Ski Brewski Pilsner this week.

The downtown brewery partnered with the Montana Canning Company, a Bozeman-based mobile canning operation, to create a new opportunity for beer drinkers. The brewery canned roughly 1,000 12 oz. cans last week and will be selling six-packs at its tasting room at 412 Main Street, as well as at Brix Bottleshop and a bottle shop in Missoula. Snowghost Design created the label for the new cans.

“Everyone likes to camp and hike and raft, and cans do much better in the outdoors than bottles,” said Maggie Doherty, co-owner of Kalispell Brewing Co.

Doherty said the aluminum cans will also better store the flavor of the beer compared to bottles.
