Have you ever come home from a day in the mountains and put pen to paper?

Has the Jewel Basin ever moved you to verse? Has the Bob Marshall Wilderness ever inspired creative genius? What about the Whitefish Range — have you ever come home from a day in the mountains and put pen to paper?

Share your written word, or, if you’re not the writing kind, grab a beer and listen to your neighbor’s prose, on Sept. 15 at 5:30 p.m. at Bonsai Brewing Project in Whitefish.

Hosted by the Montana Wilderness Association, the public event is a time for community members to raise their voices in celebration of their backyard wild lands before the Flathead National Forest revisits its land management plan.
