Stolen Bird

8:28 a.m. There was a complaint regarding the free-range chickens that run the Wolf Creek Drive area.

12:31 p.m. A man on North Hilltop Road reported that a mountain lion has been hanging around his house for the past couple of days.

1:17 p.m. A Columbia Falls resident described the neighbor’s habits as annoying.

1:42 p.m. The North Hilltop Road resident reported that the mountain lion was back and sitting out by his wood pile.

4:29 p.m. A man in a neon orange hat was seen swinging a baseball bat as he walked down Fourth Avenue East North.

4:45 p.m. A local woman called 911 to complain about the behavior of employees at a local business. Apparently, she was asked to leave and never return. She was advised to do so.

5:16 p.m. A local man claimed that his friends told him that he would get an “attempted suicide ticket” if he jumped off a bridge into the water. He was advised that his friends were wrong.

6:31 p.m. A local woman thinks that she found her stolen bird’s birdcage on Facebook. She did not see her bird on Facebook, but feels that if she had the opportunity she could easily pick her bird out of a crowd because of its one amputated toe.
