MISSOULA — Police have arrested a Missoula man accused of firing a shot that grazed another man’s head.

The Missoulian reports the victim of Monday night’s shooting would not identify the shooter and only told investigators that the assailant put a gun to his forehead during an argument.

The 28-year-old man suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at the hospital and released. Investigators believe the bullet ricocheted off the ground before hitting the victim.

Officers arrested 24-year-old Jordan Branch Standingrock later Monday night, and he has been charged with assault with a weapon and criminal endangerment.

Standingrock’s bail was set at $60,000 on Wednesday.
