Lowery Has Integrity

Instead of spending taxpayers’ money on building jails, why not ask who and why are people going to jail

By Rodrik Brosten

This November voters will be voting for a Flathead County commissioner. I have read that Pam Holmquist is a real conservative. Eileen Lowery is a real person, who has the integrity to actually live in the district that she will be representing.

Eileen was co-founder of Manzanita Mental Health Services in Ukiah, California, was executive director of Mental Health Recovery Centers in northern California, and an educator in Judith Gap and Deer Lodge, Montana. She is vice president of Friends of the Library and board member of the Sunburst Foundation supporting Mental Health Services. Eileen was instrumental in bringing crisis intervention training for first responders and mental health first aid for educators to Flathead County.

Instead of spending taxpayers’ money on building jails, why not ask who and why are people going to jail. Eileen would fund mental health courts and jail diversion programs, increase the use of home arrests, ankle bracelets, community service programs, and rehabilitation services for addiction and domestic violence. She also believes in strengthening our community by investing in our youth and expanding and supporting our schools and libraries.

Eileen is a real Montanan, who will spend taxpayers’ money wisely (fiscally responsible), is a team player, dependable, problem solver and dedicated to providing efficient county government that works to bring quality services to all citizens of Flathead county.

I ask you to vote for Eileen Lowery – I am.
