Flathead Food Bank Food Drive Collecting Items for Holidays

Last year 10,461 pounds of food was collected for 1,491 families

When & Where: Noon to 6 p.m on Nov. 4 at Albertsons, Nov. 5 at Super One, Nov. 11 at Super One, Nov. 12 at Walmart, Nov. 18 at Smiths, Nov. 19 at Natural Grocers. Donations can also be dropped off at Flathead Food Bank, Mondays and Wednesdays, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays: 7:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.; Fridays: 7:30 a.m. to noon

The Flathead Food Bank is teaming up with food retailers for the second “Stuff The Bus” Holiday Food Drive to support local families in need. The most needed items are turkeys, sweet potatoes, clear Jello, olives, gravy, pumpkin, hot chocolate, chicken broth and evaporated milk. Last year 10,461 pounds of food was collected for 1,491 families.
