The Glacier High School football team will receive a formal motorcade down Main Street on Thursday en route to the state championship game in Billings.

Police officers will escort the team buses from the high school around 12:30 p.m. and travel through downtown.  The Glacier Wolfpack are headed across the state to play Billings Senior in the Class AA state championship on Friday night.

Community members are encouraged to line Main Street and cheer on the team as it chases its second title. The team is playing in its third title game in four seasons.

On Saturday, Columbia Falls is hosting the Class A state championship. It’s the first time since 1970 that the Wildcats are appearing in the title game and the team is chasing its first championship.
