DREAM Adaptive Recreation presents the third annual Evening of Inspiration at 6 p.m. on Nov. 19 at Casey’s Bar in Whitefish.

The guest at the event is extreme skier Vasu Sojitra from Bozeman. When Vasu was only nine months old, he was diagnosed with septicemia, resulting in the amputation of one of his legs. Since then, he has not looked back. Vasu has built up the confidence needed to face new challenges with grace, courage, strength, humor, and unwavering determination.

The night will consist of Vasu’s extreme adaptive ski movies, which have won national recognition, an inspirational speech and details about what the organization does for over 300 adaptive athletes in our local community. Tickets are $30, which includes delicious appetizers. DREAM will also have raffle tickets for a pair of skis, wine grab bag as well as a cash bar. Proceeds from the event will go to replenish the scholarship funds for the Winter Alpine Program at Whitefish Mountain Resort.
