Morley Places 43rd at NCAA XC Nationals

The former Bigfork standout was the sixth finisher for the Buffaloes

Makena Morley, a former state champion from Bigfork and a sophomore at the University of Colorado, placed 43rd at the NCAA Division I cross country national championships last weekend in Indiana.

Morley finished the 6K race in 20:27.6. The former Bigfork standout was the sixth finisher for the Buffaloes, which placed third as a team.

On the men’s side, former Flathead state champ Zach Perrin, a junior for Colorado, placed 125th, clocking 31:04.7 for the 6.21-mile race. The Colorado men finished sixth as a team.
