Interpretive Tour Contract in Glacier Up for Renewal

Contract to provide Interpretive Motor Vehicle Tours Highlighting American Indian Culture in Glacier National Park.

The National Park Service announced the release of a prospectus seeking proposals for the award of a new concession contract to provide Interpretive Motor Vehicle Tours Highlighting American Indian Culture in Glacier National Park.

The current concession contract for this service, held by Sun Tours, will expire on Dec. 31, 2017. The new 10-year concession contract is anticipated to take effect Jan. 1, 2018.

Parties interested in learning more about this opportunity and how to submit a proposal should visit the National Park Service’s Commercial Services website at www.concessions.nps.gov/prospectuses.htm.

Any proposal, including that of the existing concessioner, must be received by Jennifer Parker, Chief of Concessions, NPS, Intermountain Region, 12795 W. Alameda Parkway, Lakewood, CO 80228, no later than 4 p.m. MST on March 8, 2017. Questions related to the business opportunity must be submitted by email to [email protected] no later than 4 p.m. MST on Jan. 12, 2017 and will be responded to in writing.
