Obnoxious Husband

By

3:17 a.m. A Bigfork woman called police because her husband and his buddies were in the garage using power tools and being “obnoxiously loud.”

8:57 a.m. A busy burglar siphoned gas out of two boats, stole some batteries and rummaged through multiple vehicles and a shop near Kalispell.

9:18 a.m. A Kalispell resident called because they saw a horse on its side and they were pretty sure it was dead. The horse was not dead.

9:35 a.m. A Kalispell woman called police because their neighbor’s dog is constantly barking and defecating all over the neighborhood. The dog’s not aggressive, just sort of a jerk.

9:42 a.m. Someone got into an altercation with the Green Box attendant in Lakeside.

10:03 a.m. A Kalispell man called police because he had questions about pets. Specifically, he was interested in acquiring “five or more” dogs.

10:12 a.m. A wallet, a cell phone charger and sunglasses were stolen in Kalispell.

11:02 a.m. A Marion woman called police because there’s a mountain lion that’s been chilling on her porch for the last couple of days.

11:31 a.m. A concerned citizen called police because they heard “through the grapevine” that a Hungry Horse bartender keeps a loaded gun behind the bar.

11:52 a.m. A Bigfork school official called police because a student had missed 35 days of school. Turns out the student had moved to Washington.

1:40 p.m. A Kalispell woman called police to let them know that her barking dog was no longer a problem. The pooch’s bark collar had broken and he had gone on a barking rampage. But the owner got him a new collar and he’s quieted down again.

4:09 p.m. A man who recently purchased a church building called with questions regarding the caretakers. When he bought the building, he said it was OK for the caretakers to continue staying there, so long as they signed a lease. The couple declined to sign the lease, and as the relationship has degraded, the new owner has decided not to keep the caretakers. Upon informing the caretakers that they had to go, they replied that they “will go to heaven before they move out” of the church. The owner is not sure what to do now.

7:35 p.m. A Kalispell couple left their baby in a parked car while they drank and gambled inside a local casino.

8:44 p.m. Two dogs were harassing a deer that had been hit by a car.

9:05 p.m. Someone on Highway 35 near Bigfork was swerving all over the road and had their high beams on.

10:06 p.m. Another bad driver was reported.
