‘Loving’ to be Shown at Museum at Central School on March 25

The movie depicts the 1958 case of an interracial couple marrying when it was illegal in Virginia

The 2016 moving “Loving,” starring Joel Edgerton as Richard Loving and Academy Award nominated Ruth Negga as Mildred Loving, will be shown on Saturday, March 25, at the Museum at Central School

The movie depicts the 1958 case in the state of Virginia when Richard and Mildred Loving, an interracial couple, married. Interracial marriage was against the law in Virginia at that time. The Lovings took their case all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court in order to fight for their love in this passionate and gripping drama. The case was finally settled in their favor. 

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the movie begins at 6 p.m. Admission is by donation with a minimum suggested donation of $5. The event benefits the Scholarship Fund of the Flathead County Democratic Women.
