Wild Impressions Opening Reception at Hockaday

Wanda Mumm worked 10 days on location in the Bob Marshall Wilderness

By Beacon Staff

Wanda Mumm presents an exhibition of her artistic and creative process through paintings, sketchbooks and journals while working 10 days on location in the Bob Marshall Wilderness through the Artist Wilderness Connection Program. Landscape subjects are of particular interest to Wanda because of the challenge and experiences one receives from direct observation. Wanda concentrates on light, painting scenes from early morning to late afternoon, as well as nocturne scenes.

The opening reception is April 27 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Hockaday Museum of Art in Kalispell. The exhibit runs through June 24.

Cost for the opening reception is $10 for non-members and free for members.
