A 34-year-old Kalispell woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 2 this week.
Flathead County Sheriff Chuck Curry identified the victim as April Elizabeth Barrows. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.
The crash occurred west of Kalispell near the Gold Country Casino shortly after 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. Barrows’ 1-year-old daughter was also in the vehicle and was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center in stable condition. Barrows was wearing a seatbelt and the child was properly secured in the vehicle.
The driver of the second vehicle was uninjured.
The crash remains under investigation.
