Alberta Man Killed in Head-on Crash near West Glacier

Crash remains under investigation

A 62-year-old man from Alberta was killed May 21 in a head-on collision on U.S. Highway 2 near West Glacier.

Flathead County Sheriff Chuck Curry identified the victim as Peter Kshyk.

According to a press release, Kshyk was driving a motorcycle when he crashed head-on into another vehicle shortly before 6:30 p.m. Kshyk was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and passenger of the second vehicle were unharmed.

The Montana Highway Patrol is investigating the collision.
