Shots Fired in Missoula; 3 in Custody, 1 Injured

MISSOULA – Law enforcement officers are investigating a shooting in Missoula that sent one person to the hospital.

Missoula County Sheriff Rick Maricelli says three people are in custody after a shooting that apparently occurred inside a vehicle on Monday morning.

KECI-TV reports someone reported shots fired near the Missoula County jail at about 8:30 a.m. Officers tracked down the involved vehicles minutes later.

Officers with the Ravalli County sheriff’s department are being called in to investigate. Officials have not released any information on the condition of the victim.
