One of the most-welcome aspects of summertime is being able to spend time outside with friends and neighbors without freezing. Twice a week, the Kalispell Parks and Recreation Department offers a chance to do just that during Picnic in the Park. This series brings together the forces of live music and picnicking with the community for a summer of tunes and fun. Concessions are available if you forget to pack your own picnic. The series kicks off with Copper Mountain Band on June 27; for more information, visit www.Kalispell.com/Parks_and_Recreation or call (406) 758-7717.
