Authorities have identified the 45-year-old man from Somers who was killed in a vehicle crash on June 27 on Main Street in Kalispell.
Flathead County Sheriff Chuck Curry said Timothy Dale Dowling was the victim of a two-vehicle crash at roughly 9 a.m., Tuesday.
Dowling was the driver of a car traveling southbound that crossed into the northbound lane of traffic and struck a pickup head-on, according to Kalispell Police Department officials.
Dowling was not wearing a seat belt, according to authorities. A female passenger who was also in the car was wearing a seat belt and suffered non-life threatening injuries. Two occupants of the truck suffered minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation, according to KPD.
Dowling’s body was sent to the Montana State Crime Lab in Missoula for autopsy. The cause of his death is pending, Curry said.
