Spotlight Event: Skijoring World Championships

When: Saturday, Jan. 27, and Sunday, Jan. 28 at 11:30 a.m.

Where: Big Mountain Ranch in Whitefish

The spectator-friendly event scheduled for the weekend of January 26-28 is now in its 15th year, and will feature an exciting combination of horses (and mules), riders, and skiers mixed with speed, jumps, and, of course, snow, as competitors vie for an estimated purse of more than $20,000. Register on Jan. 26 at 6 p.m. at Grouse Mountain Lodge. Casey’s Bar is hosting a calcutta on Jan. 27 at 7 p.m.
