Sleeping Bag Style

12:02 a.m. A house in Coram was collapsing under the weight of snow.

12:08 a.m. A sheriff’s deputy had a flat tire.

12:14 a.m. A Kalispell resident called 911 because there was an orange tabby cat “flopping around” on their porch.

7:04 a.m. A local resident called 911 because they were concerned for the safety of someone broken down on the side of the road. Their concern, however, wasn’t great enough to stop and check on the folks themselves.

8:21 a.m. Five horses were running through Columbia Falls. According to the caller, it looked “like they had been running for a while.”

9:47 a.m. A Columbia Falls resident had a chimney fire.

11:06 a.m. A local resident reported that her ex-husband called and left a message that simply stated, “I hate you and I hope you have a terrible life.”

11:38 a.m. A local teen locked themselves in their bedroom.

12:41 p.m. A Kalispell resident called because there were a bunch of children in the neighborhood “drug house.”

1:03 p.m. A dog was found in Somers.

1:07 p.m. A man was wearing sleeping bags in Columbia Falls.

1:34 p.m. Another call came in about the man wearing sleeping bags. According to the reporting party, the man had moved to an area ditch.

2:48 p.m. A Bigfork man reported that someone was in his attic and had poured water on him.

3:38 p.m. A local man called to ask where his kids were.

4:40 p.m. A guy in an oversized pickup truck was predictably speeding down U.S. Highway 2.

5:01 p.m. A Columbia Falls resident reported a speeding milk truck.

5:10 p.m. A local resident found a bag of needles in the middle of the road.

6:07 p.m. A man who just purchased a brand new car decided to see how it worked in the opposing lane. It worked, much to the dismay of the drivers in the opposing lane.

6:34 p.m. Scaffolding was stolen in Columbia Falls.

9:11 p.m. Kalispell residents got into a heated fight because their two dogs got into a fight.

11:34 p.m. Five guys in Whitefish got drunk, got into a fight and tried to drive home. Thankfully, someone called the cops.
