“This Is My Valley!”

6:01 a.m. There was a fender bender between a car and a horse in Whitefish.

8:04 a.m. Two men were standing by a soda machine and “doing drugs.” Turns out they were just smoking some tobacco out of an old fashioned pipe.

8:34 a.m. A golf cart was stolen in Lakeside.

8:36 a.m. A turtle was trying to cross the road.

11:31 a.m. A deer was in the middle of the highway.

11:32 a.m. A Kalispell man complained about a dog belonging to two guys setting up a fireworks stand.

11:38 a.m. A Columbia Falls man inquired if law enforcement could drug test his daughter.

12:36 p.m. A Columbia Falls woman rescued a shelter dog. After the dog chased her horses around she decided to bring the dog back to the shelter.

1:33 p.m. Two men and a woman showed up at a trailer home in Olney and started grabbing stuff. When they were confronted they screamed, “She has a right to be here!”

1:59 p.m. A Columbia Falls man called 911 because there was an old purple Escort driving around his neighborhood that “doesn’t belong here.”

2:02 p.m. A Kalispell pawnshop employee found some drug paraphernalia in a bag that was pawned last month. Apparently, the pawnshop was only interested in selling the bag and not the pipe and wanted help disposing of it.

3:36 p.m. A Kalispell man said he was unfairly evicted.

3:53 p.m. A FedEx truck driver ran into another vehicle.

3:54 p.m. A local woman who was tired of her neighbor’s dog constantly barking went next door and stole the dog.

4:34 p.m. Someone owes the dump $26.39.

4:38 p.m. A new businessman called 911 because a competitor keeps calling and screaming, “This my valley!” in an apparent attempt to intimidate the man and prevent him from opening his new store.

5:05 p.m. A Kalispell man said he usually asks his roommate’s daughter to do his taxes this year. Unfortunately this year the daughter did the taxes and stole his identity.

8:18 p.m. A man almost caused an accident on U.S. Highway 93.

8:39 p.m. A phone book was stolen in Kalispell.
