Bonfire is now open at the former Flathead Lake Brewery in Woods Bay. The new restaurant is owned by longtime Bigfork entrepreneurs Chef Lisa Cloutier and her husband Brian Anderson, who also run The Raven and the Islander Inn.

Bonfire features classic American-style food with a slight twist. Menu highlights also include the braised bison short ribs, smoked Idaho rainbow trout and marinated octopus. Bonfire’s menu focuses on incorporating locally sourced ingredients.

The restaurant’s cocktail bar features Montana-made spirits from distilleries around the state. Bonfire also has the Citra IPA produced by the brewing program from Flathead Valley Community College, among other beers from Montana brewers.

Bonfire has both indoor and outdoor seating and is located at 15300 on Highway 35 in Woods Bay on Flathead Lake. The restaurant is open daily from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. For more information visit www.montanabonfire.com.
