GREAT FALLS – Cascade County officials say the total cost of President Donald Trump’s recent visit to Great Falls is estimated at almost $40,000.
The Great Falls Tribune reports that Cascade County Commissioners released a breakdown of the costs for Trump’s visit last week on Tuesday.
About half of the costs came from the Public Works and the Sheriff’s Department.
Commissioners say that after estimated profits and expenses were tallied, the visit cost the county just over $17,500.
The $40,000 estimate does not include costs incurred by the City of Great Falls and the Montana Highway Patrol which provided additional police support for the president to and from the Montana ExpoPark where Trump’s rally was held.
