BILLINGS — Vice President Mike Pence’s visit to Montana to campaign on behalf of Republican U.S. Senate candidate Matt Rosendale has been pushed back a day.

Officials with MetraPark in Billings say the event will take place July 25 at 9:30 a.m. in the Montana Pavilion. Tickets are available through the America First Policies events website. The doors open at 7:30 a.m. for first-come, first-served seating.

The event’s webpage says attendees will learn more about the impact of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.

MetraPark’s marketing and sales coordinator Ray Massie tells The Billings Gazette that organizers didn’t give him a reason for the date change.

Rosendale, the state’s auditor and insurance commissioner, is running against two-term Democratic U.S. Sen. Jon Tester.
