Winners Crowned at The Event

Californian takes home first place in top division after five full days of competition

Frankie Thieriot Stutes won the CCI3* division title atop Chatwin to close out five days of competition at The Event at Rebecca Farm, July 18-22.

Thieriot Stutes, of Occidental, California, closed out the victory with a winning score of 32.1 in the show jumping competition, the last of three segments of the equestrian triathlon, also called eventing. Thieriot Stutes finished first in both the dressage and cross-country competitions. Tamara Smith and her horse, Fleeceworks Royal, took home first place in the CIC3* division.

Rebecca Farm also played host for the second straight year to the North American Youth Championships, awarding the team title to Area II and individual championship to Lexington, Kentucky’s Alexandra Baugh on Ballingowan Pizazz.
