Having undergone a number of name and management changes since its establishment as Tri-City Lumber four decades ago, the building material supply store in Evergreen, most recently known as ProBuild, has changed its name to Builders FirstSource.
The change comes nearly three years after Builders FirstSource completed its acquisition of ProBuild Holdings LLC, a Denver-based parent company.
BuildersFirst Source announced its decision to phase out the ProBuild name in affiliated stores in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming in April, noting that the company expected all signage to be updated by the end of 2018.
With its headquarters in Dallas, Texas, Builders FirstSource is a manufacturer and supplier of structural materials for construction projects and has more than 400 locations in 40 states.
