Get Rid of the Drugs and Skip Town

8:57 a.m. A Columbia Falls woman found flip-flops and a hat on her property. She called 911 immediately.

9:32 a.m. A West Glacier resident was ticked off that his neighbor had rented his house for the entire summer to a very noisy family.

10:30 a.m. Someone organizing a 21-gun salute in Somers tipped off law enforcement about their plans just to make sure they didn’t think there was a shootout going down.

10:43 a.m. Two dogs went missing in Whitefish.

11:55 a.m. A fax was sent to the sheriff’s office.

12:07 p.m. A Bigfork man wanted to know if his reflective stickers on his vehicle were legal.

12:09 p.m. Someone trying to shut off the power of a man who had not paid his electric bill was mildly concerned about the “Trespassers Will Be Shot” sign out front.

1:42 p.m. Some Columbia Falls residents were getting tired of listening to their neighbor’s dogs bark.

1:55 p.m. A Kalispell man was annoyed with all the youths in his neighborhood riding their dirt bikes and causing a ruckus.

3:25 p.m. A Kalispell man was asked to douse his brush fire.

8:20 p.m. A Kalispell woman was getting ready to “skip town” as soon as she got rid of all of her drugs.

9:19 p.m. Two rafters went missing. The search was particularly troublesome because the reporting party didn’t know what river they were rafting on and suggested checking out the “west fork of some river.”

9:36 p.m. A Kalispell woman lit a candle outside. She was advised that that was not a good idea right now.
