The City of Kalispell is now picking up fallen leaves until Nov. 16.
Residents are encouraged to rake their leaves into the street, about two feet from the curb, and are asked the make sure that there are no rocks, dirt, cans, bottles or branches in their pile. Vehicles cannot be parked along the curb during leaf pickup operations.
City officials say there is no set timeline for when they’ll be picking up leaves in certain neighborhoods and that it all depends on leaf volumes and weather. If people bag their leaves, they are asked to put those leaves in an alley along with their trash.
