Which home styles sell most often? See chart (I filtered out any columns with only one sale per city/style, to not divulge sold prices). Over the past year, across the Flathead, more ranch-style homes sold than other styles in all of the charted cities but Whitefish (whose overwhelming majority were 1.5-2 story). Which city sold the most log homes? Bigfork. Thinking that log homes are often smaller in size? Median square footage of such, sold in Bigfork and Polson, was about 2,900 square feet.

Most frequent count (median) of bedrooms? Half had three, a quarter had four, and the rest were split between two and 3.5. Most frequent count (median) of bathrooms? Over half had two, a quarter had three, and the rest were split between one, 2.5 and 3.5.

Largest median parcel size sold with such homes? Bigfork logs: 4.27 acres, Polson logs: 6.25 acres. Fastest to sell: Columbia Falls tops the list, with all styles having median days to contract between 15 and 23 (Whitefish looks second and Kalispell third). Most expensive (median sold price per square foot) by style: cabin.
