There’s a new way to catch a buzz in downtown Whitefish.
Folklore Coffee opened its doors to the public on Nov. 10, adding a new caffeine option in the north end of the valley.
Owner Matt Pollard said he decided to open the Whitefish location modeled after the original Folklore Coffee in Conrad, Montana. His brother owns that shop, and Pollard, who decided he wanted to get out of teaching as a career, saw the opportunity to open a new coffeehouse in the Flathead.
Folklore roasts their own beans, Pollard said, which should set their coffee drinks apart from other coffee roasters in flavor.
Folklore is located at 403 Second St. E, Suite 104. It is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. For more information, visit www.facebook.com/folklorewhitefish.
